The studio
A studio, not a startup. We don't chase scale for its own sake or ship things we wouldn't run our own lives on. Each product gets what good software actually requires: a clear reason to exist, honest engineering, and someone who stays to look after it.
Atkins Studio is the work of Marty Atkins, an engineer 27 years into the craft — a career that runs from QA engineer to software engineer to engineering and enterprise-data director, leading global teams across logistics, banking, healthcare, and insurance. Along the way he built modern data platforms, stood up AI/ML operations, and shipped customer-facing products at enterprise scale.
Most recently he has gone deep on agentic engineering: directing AI agents that write production software inside disciplined, machine-enforced guardrails — tests first, every change gated, nothing shipped unverified. The studio is where all of it points at products of his own, built carefully, honestly, and for the long haul.
